Smuda Will Travel To See Roger!

For the last couple of months, Polish soccer fans may have forgotten about Roger Guerreiro. The Brazilian-born with a Polish passport is slowly returning to high form and soon can be call up to the Polish national team.

Today, Roger had a fantastic match as his club AEK Athens defeated Panthrakikos 5:1 in the Greece Cup.  The former Legia Warszawa star started and recorded two assist.

-"First I got injured, and then I got infected with a virus . I couldn't train for two months. Then former coach Dusan Bajevic didn't want to play me," Roger told Polska The Times.

According to Super Express, Frank Smuda who earlier said that he will not call up Roger to his kadra is planning to travel to Greece to watch Roger in action. Smuda will watch AEK Athens take on Panionios and if Roger impresses, he could find his name on Smuda's call up sheet.

-"I never quit for the national team. Coach Smuda needs to know that Im always return to return to the NT," Roger added.
