Preliminary Draw: Poland face England once again
By Daniel Jagiello
In the UEFA zone, Poland's rivals to qualify for Brazil 2014 are known. They are England, Ukraine, Montenegro, Moldova and San Marino. It's not the most difficult group but no way is it going to be easy. I'm personally pretty happy we got England as they are that kind of National team that always has good players with a great manager, Fabio Capello. Montenegro are not a side to take lightly, they have been very impressive in the EURO qualifiers and have some decent players that are starters for some good clubs.
Lets hope Poland does well in the EURO, then we can worry about this I say. Is it just me or do Greece and Switzerland always seem to get some favourable draws?

Guus Hiddink for Poland 2014 by the way haha, I'm dreaming...
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know the exact deal with the Piszczek suspension? I saw today that he is suspended from the NT for a year. I've also seen something about a fine and a prison sentence suspended for three years. What is the exact deal? We might be able to afford losing one of our top midfielders, but certainly not our top defender. And right as Boenisch looks set to return on the left...
ReplyDeleteAt least Wasilewski can probably step in and be a decent backup, unlike everyone who has taken Boenisch's spot in the last year.
Scratch that--I meant to type half a year.
ReplyDeletedoes this mean that piszczek is not able to play against Germany?.... #$#@.
ReplyDeleteLukasz's suspension is 9 months
ReplyDeleteWow when is the last time we beat England.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you see that the suspension is 9 months? I've only seen 6.
ReplyDeleteIt was on Onet.pl, Lato was talking about how Lukasz got a 9 month suspension.
ReplyDeletehmm I think I will try to go watch the game in Wembley.. :)
ReplyDeleteAbout Switzerland, you're right, for 2010, we had a very easy group...But well, we never know.. Poland had a easy group for the qualification for the world cup 2010 and they failed...
^ true...
ReplyDeleteYes we always manage to mess up games that should have been easy so this could be good for us.
