Slask defeat Dundee in the first leg

Apart from Jagiellonia Bialystok's incompetence, Polish clubs in Europe seem promising so far as Slask Wroclaw defeated Scottish outfit Dundee United in their first meeting. New Dutch striker Johan Voskamp proved himself a useful substitute (and signing) by scoring the only goal in the 75th minute. I guess it's good a clean sheet was kept at home for the 'Wojskowym' as they'll have the chance to build up from that at Dundee.

Sport.wp.pl claims that it was reserve players that gave the Polish club the victory over what seems to be a full strength Dundee line up. Slask was definitely the team that took more attempts on goal and by the looks of it, created more chances. So good on them, and all the best for the Wroclaw team as they travel to Scotland for the second leg. Keep up the good work Voskamp!
