A Wonderful Wednesday Night -
Wisla supporters, players, coaches and management could not be more happier tonight - as they were all witnesses to an incredible game, atmosphere and scoreline. Wisla fans flooded the R22 stadium to almost full capacity with some fans arriving two hours early to fit in nearly 24 000 visitors. Wisla is also happy to report that the last sector will be finalized, adding 11 000 more seats for Krakow fans to enjoy.

European Stage Complete -
One thing is certain and that is Wisla will have the chance to play in the Europa group stages, and that is if they fail to advance in the fourth round of the CL qualifications. Lots of work has been done, but it is far from over. Wisla Krakow want nothing less than to advance past the 4th round and get into the Champions League group stages. A place no Ekstraklasa team has been in the past 15 years!

Goals Galore -
Maor Melikson continued his incredible form scoring a brilliant left footed strike after a great one two play between him and Malecki -  this goal assured Wisla fans all over the world that there adventure has just begun.  Moments later Maor sped past several Litex players and showed he was way to quick but was finally taken down in the box while attempting to round the Litex keeper Vinicious - but was it the right call? It appeared that the goalie hit all ball but the referee saw Maor being taken down and awarded the penalty. He took it well, only after hesitating with each step.

Litex were able to get one back on the board and once again another ricochet shot that fell into the lap of an oncoming Litex player who put it in from just 2 yards out. A small life line was instilled but was soon flat lined as the Litex captain was sent off for a challenging stomp on midfielder Nunez. Although, Nunez was all over the Litex players he maintained his cool which helped Wisla take control of the game.
Finally, in the last five minutes of the game Litex fell asleep as Genkov powered a shot through which was rebounded off the keeper and was slammed home by Wilk.

Transfers -
Wisla Krakow management have promised to bring in another player or two if they were to progress into the 4th round, well I guess that means we will be looking to further widen the already boosted Wisla squad. Strong rumours are coming out of Bulgaria as Wisla are looking at CSKA striker Spasa Delewa.

To Sum Up -
Wisla Krakow played very well today, they looked poised, confident, and effective. They held onto possession and made several great plays that could have led to many goals. Litex was lost with the tactics used by Wisla as they were shut down for the majority of the match, Wisla looked very fit and proved that they can play at a very high level. Michal Lamey was amazing delivery many crosses for our forwards, Maor was the architect that kept plays going, Sobolewski fought for each ball, and finally Malecki added some viniger that was missed last game running around helping all over the field. Our defense looked very good, our midfield provided many opportunities but what needs to be worked on is our finishing and of course our striker -  Genkov who looks to be out of form.

4th Round Probability -
Friday, the 4th round draw will take place which will seed Wisla verse one of the following Kopenhaga, BATE, Dinamo, Maccabi, APOEL. Looking at these teams our best possible opponent would either be APOEL, BATE or Maccabi.
