Twente crushes Wisla 4-1
FC Twente scored four unanswered goals after giving up an early strike in a 4-1 rout over Wisla Krakow.
Wisla took the lead in the 9th minute, thanks to Dudu Biton's strike from just outside the penalty box. However, Twente stroke back in the 32nd minute when Luuk de Jong flick the ball into Wisla's net from a free-kick. Things got worst for Wisla just before halftime, as Marc Janko gave Twente a 2-1 lead.
In the 57th minute, Marc Janko scored his second of the night to give Twente a 3-1 lead. The Dutch side took a 4-1 lead in the 80th minute thanks to Willem Janssen.
After two matches, Wisla Krakow sit dead-last in Group K with zero points.
Twente: Mihaylov - Rosales, Wisgerhof, Douglas, Tiendalli - Brama, de Jong, Landzaat (83. Fer) - John (83. Berghuis), Janko (68. Janssen), Bajrami.
Wisla: Pareiko - Lamey, Chavez, Jaliens, Junior Diaz - Nunez (84. Brud), Sobolewski - Kirm, Jirsak (68. Wilk), Iliev (68. Paljic) - Biton.

ReplyDeleteGuys that was our champs by the way. The Ek champs are 3 goals worse than an average Dutch team.
ReplyDeleteLets not forget Wisla was missing 2 of their best players, Melikson and Malecki.
