English powerhouse Liverpool has summited a winter bid for Polish national team striker Robert Lewandowski, according to German media.
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish looks to add another striker to help out Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll. The English club would have to spend 8 million pounds for the Polish striker.
Lewandowski has scored 7 goals in 11 Bundesliga appearances this season and has 11 goals in 16 appearances in all of the competitions..
While I would absolutely love to see him the EPL, now is not a good time for him to move. He definitely would be behind Carroll and Suarez in the pecking order, while at BVB he has finally established himself as a starter. I hope Dortmund doesn't decide to sell Lewy yet.
ReplyDeleteYea it would be wonderful to see him in the EPL but I think he should still play at Dortmund sinces hes pretty much a starter there.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say Lewy has established himself as THE starter. Barrios has been out because of injury, that's why Lewy has started. However, he has played well in Barrios' absence.
ReplyDeleteI agree that he would not be one of the two starting strikers for Liverpool. Both Carroll and Suarez are very young, and will likely start their for a long time. I would prefer for Lewy to stay at BvB for now.

ReplyDeleteNot to mention, even Carroll doesn't start a lot of the time. I would love to see Lewandowski go to a team like Everton, Fulham, or Newcastle, though.
ReplyDelete8 million pounds is a shit offer !!!! from liverpool. This is a club which spent 35 million on Andy Carroll. Lewandowski is worth 16 million minimum.

Bad idea, he is exactly where he needs to be right now. He is earning the confidence he desperately needs playing as a star player for BVB, the greatest team in the Bundesliga. He also works better (for now) being amongst some of his own countrymen, the polish trio of him kuba, and piszczek. I wouldn't change a thing until MAYBE next season at the earliest.
