Obraniak protests after blocked transfer

Poland national team midfielder Ludovic Obraniak decided not to turn up at Lille's training session in protest of blocking his transfer to Bordeaux.

Couple of days ago, Obraniak and Bordeaux agreed to a personal contract, and were only waiting for Lille's decision. Obraniak's current team decided not to agree on the transfer and rejected the offer after it was sure that Obraniak will make the move.

Lille management informed they will not sell Obraniak until they find a replacement for him.

Obraniak is looking for a transfer to find more playing time minutes before Euro 2012. He has only started five league matches out of possible twelve this season

  2. Can't blame him. Lille has treated him terribly for a long time now and still they won't let him leave.

  3. They don't want to let him go becuz they know the value he brings for the club...he does really save the club at times...but he really needs to go and move to a club where he will be able to play a lot more!

  4. Seems that French clubs don't appreciate or respect their Polish players very much. May be a lesson for future Polish talent to take note of..
