Komorowski replaces Wojtkowiak on Poland NT roster


Terek Grozny defender Marcin Komorowski has been called up to the Poland national team to replace Grzegorz Wojtkowiak, who suffered an injury in Lech Poznan's league match against Ruch Chorzow on Friday.

Komorowski, who was part of the national team's last two training camps and appeared in a friendlies against South Korea and Hungary, has just moved to Russian side Terek Grozny. He made his final Legia Warszawa appearance against Sporting CP in the Europa League on Thursday.

Wojtkowiak suffered a muscle strain and was forced to leave in the 52nd minute in Lech Poznan's 3-0 loss to Ruch Chorzow on Friday. He will not take part in Poland's training camp and friendly against Portugal.

The Polish national team will begin their training camp on Monday. They play Portugal on Wednesday.
