National Stadium will not host Polish Cup final
The 2011-2012 Polish Cup final will not be played at the National Stadium in Warszawa, according to the Polish Football Association.
The match was scheduled to take place at the new National Stadium in Warszawa on April 24th, but once again, for the same reason as the Polish SuperCup was canceled, the Polish Cup Final will not be played. The police will not allow the match to be played due to safely reasons.
"We will wait until Friday for a desicion from National Sports Centre," said Grzegorz Lato, President of PZPN. "If the match can not be played in Warszawa, then we have a reserve stadium."
No replacement has been yet announcement, but last year's host Bydgoszcz could be amongst the favourites.
