Marek Wlecialowski, assistant coach of the Poland national team, discusses Waldemar Fornalik's recent call ups for friendly vs. Ireland.
(On not calling up Bartosz Salamon...)
"We've been observing him for the last couple of months and we've watched all of his matches to this point. But, as of right now, the position that he plays, which is center-back, we need experience. We're under pressure right now trying to select the right team for the upcoming qualifiers and we don't have much time left. It's better if we try out Piotr Celeban, who has national team experience. We'll decide after the Romania friendly if we'll take Celeban to Ireland."
(O not calling up Maciej Rybus...)
"The Russian league if off right now so it's better for Maciej to train calmly. We're going to give other players a chance at that position because we have couple of them.
(On calling up Sebastian Boenisch...)
"His return to the national team was already decided in the autumn. He wasn't called up before beacuse he was without a club.
we need faster center backs and younger ones not some washed up players that use to play
