Polish national team prospect Rafal Wolski made his return to the field in style, scoring a goal in Legia Warszawa's 4-2 win over FC Aarau in a friendly today.
The 20-year-old came off the bench at halftime and found the back of the net in the 73rd minute, giving Legia a 4-2 lead.
It's the first time since the pre-Euro 2012 training camp that Wolski has seen the playing field. He injured his heel in one of Poland's training sessions and has been out from that point on, suffering several setbacks.
Meanwhile, it was Legia's first friendly of the winter training camp. All four goals were scored by players that were developed in their academy. 20-year-old Michal Efir scored a brace, while Domink Furman added his name to the scoresheet.
Nice to see him finally back.
ReplyDeleteHe injured his heel, not his toe. Too bad he is most likely moving to Fiorentina soon :(
